[2017 - ongoing]

Since 2017, without planning it, without naming it, I was photographing friends. Women close to me, flowers near them or in their hands or near their faces. One image, then another, then many. Only when I looked back did I notice there was a pattern. The cyanotype arrived together, almost by accident. A nineteenth-century photographic process, made of chemistry, sunlight and paper. Slow, unpredictable, full of attempts. I didn't plan much, the cyanotype and the girls but it made a lot of sense all together.

Desde 2017, sem que eu planejasse, sem que eu nomeasse, eu estava fotografando amigas. Mulheres próximas, flores perto delas ou nas mãos delas ou perto do rosto delas. Uma imagem, depois outra, depois muitas. Só quando olhei para trás percebi que havia um padrão.
O cianótipo chegou junto, quase por acidente. Um processo fotográfico do século XIX, feito de química, luz solar e papel. Lento, imprevisível, cheio de tentativas.
